Barrierefreier Ausbau der Bushaltestellen „Gohlis Nord“
Ab Donnerstag, 10. Juli, bis voraussichtlich Oktober werden beide Bushaltestellen „Gohlis Nord“ in der Max-Liebermann-Straße barrierefrei ausgebaut. Zuvor erneuern die Stadtwerke vor Ort die Trinkwasserleitungen.
An beiden Haltepunkten werden Blindenleitstreifen und erhöhte Bordsteine eingerichtet. Die bereits modernisierten Fahrgastunterstände bleiben bestehen.
Während der Bauarbeiten wird der Verkehr einspurig an den Haltestellen vorbeigeführt. Die temporäre Ampel an der Kreuzung Virchowstraße/ Max-Liebermann-Straße wird dementsprechend angepasst. Auch Fußgängerinnen und Fußgänger können in dieser Zeit die Ampel nutzen, um an der Kreuzung sicher die Straße zu überqueren.
Die Bauarbeiten werden circa 150.000 Euro kosten und vom Zweckverband für den Nahverkehr Leipzig zu 90 Prozent gefördert. +++
