Visual Snow: Mitstreiter für Selbsthilfegruppe gesucht
Die Selbsthilfegruppe von Betroffenen mit Visual Snow sucht Mitstreiterinnen und Mitstreiter. Bei der seltenen neurologischen Erkrankung nehmen Betroffene viele feine, flimmernde, schneeähnliche Punkte, Lichtblitze und andere Lichtphänomene über beide Augen und das gesamte Gesichtsfeld wahr. Die Konzentration ist dadurch drastisch beeinträchtigt. Weitere Symptome, wie zum Beispiel Migräne mit oder ohne Aura, Tinnitus und Tremor, können auftreten. Die Krankheitsbelastung ist hoch.
Die Mitglieder der Selbsthilfegruppe möchten Hilfe und Verständnis finden und sich über den Umgang mit der Krankheit im Alltag sowie neue Forschungsergebnisse und Behandlungsoptionen austauschen.
