Stadt Leipzig schreibt Jazznachwuchspreis 2025 aus
Die Stadt Leipzig startet die Ausschreibung für den Jazznachwuchspreis 2025. Der Preis, der bereits zum 29. Mal vergeben wird, fördert talentierte, junge Musikschaffende, die auf dem Gebiet des Jazz musikalisch vielfältig agieren und eine besondere künstlerische Entwicklung erwarten lassen. Der Leipziger Jazznachwuchspreis der Marion Ermer Stiftung ist mit einem Preisgeld in Höhe von 6.500 Euro dotiert und wird von der Stadt Leipzig unterstützt.
Die Ausschreibung richtet sich an Einzelpersonen und Bands oder Ensembles. Diese sollen nicht älter als 30 Jahre sein (Geburtsdatum ab 1. Januar 1995) und ihren Lebensmittelpunkt in Leipzig beziehungsweise in den Landkreisen Nordsachsen oder Leipzig haben. Die Stadt Leipzig und die Marion Ermer Stiftung wertschätzen Vielfalt und begrüßen daher alle Bewerbungen unabhängig von Geschlecht, Nationalität, ethnischer und sozialer Herkunft, Religion/Weltanschauung, Behinderung sowie sexueller Orientierung und Identität.
Eine Bewerbung ist ab sofort bis zum 31. März 2025 möglich. Alle notwendigen Informationen sowie das Onlineformular können unter www.leipzig.de/jazznachwuchspreis abgerufen werden.
Die Stadt Leipzig vergibt den Leipziger Jazznachwuchspreis der Marion Ermer Stiftung im Rahmen der 49. Leipziger Jazztage (11. bis 18. Oktober 2025) in Kooperation mit dem Jazzclub Leipzig e. V. An die offizielle Preisvergabe schließt sich ein Konzert der ausgezeichneten Person oder Band oder Ensemble an. +++
